How does pricing work?

SMARTEDGE is a monthly subscription service.

You receive an invoice at the beginning of each month and can pay via EFT or Debit Order.

There are no hidden costs and you don’t need to buy multiple separately pricing plugins.

Our free 30-day trial only takes 2 minutes to set up.

You don’t need to provide any payment details, sign in contracts or give us any information to get started. 

What is SMARTEDGE?

SMARTEDGE is business management software to meet all your needs. 

SMARTEDGE allows you to generate invoices, reconcile your bank account, track stock and expenses, view detailed business statistics, track profitability, and much more.

SMARTEDGE is used by small businesses with 1 user to large companies with multiple branches and 100’s of users.

You can use SMARTEDGE on your own, or with multiple users – and your accountant gets free access.

Must I install SMARTEDGE?

You do not need to download any software or install anything to use SMARTEDGE.

It is completely cloud based, with the same level of security as banks, and all data is backed up automatically.

You login to SMARTEDGE by using a web browser on your computer, tablet or phone.

Wherever you are, whenever you want means you can work on your accounting and financial management from anywhere with an Internet connection. 

What happens when my trial ends?

You can convert your company to an active subscription, keeping all the data you have entered during your trial, or clear the data and start fresh – the choice is completely yours.

If you don’t activate your subscription when your trial expires, you can do so at any later stage.

Let us know if you require more than 30 days to properly evaluate our software, we are always happy to do what we can to help you.

 

Does SMARTEDGE offer free support?

Yes, support is completely free.

In addition to our extensive help system and detailed manuals, SMARTEDGE has unlimited online support via email and our support ticket system.

 

How much accounting knowledge do I need?

SMARTEDGE is specifically designed to be easy to learn and simple to use. If you know how to send invoices, receive payment, track bills and make payments you’ll easily learn how to use SMARTEDGE. Simple, activity oriented, screens make it fast and easy to get started.

And on top of that, since you share your data with your accountant you can ask them to enter any transactions that you are not confident to do yourself.

Can my accountant capture my transactions?

Yes. Since your accountant can be granted free access, you can have your accountant keep your books.

You can simply run reports whenever you want.

With SMARTEDGE all the information is instantly updated, so your reports will always be up-to-date

Can I import my data into SMARTEDGE?

Yes, you can.

SMARTEDGE has functionality to import customer & supplier details, customer and supplier contacts & employees, products & services, transactions, ledger accounts, stock takes, sales orders and budgets. 

Detailed manuals and sample Excel templates are available for all imports and our support team can assist where necessary.

 

Is my data safe?

Your critical financial data is stored on firewall-protected servers.

You have complete control over who accesses your data and what they can see and do.

Once you sign up, only the people whom you explicitly invite can access your data.

Is my data backed up?

Yes.

SMARTEDGE protects your business by storing your critical financial data on firewall-protected servers.

In addition we always maintain copies of your data to help ensure that a hardware failure should not affect you.
